Fresh Boost For Orlando Pirates As Two Key Players Recover From Injury Ahead Of Mamelodi Sundowns Clash

For South African football side Orlando Pirates, the news is pretty good as two of their key players have recovered from injury and will resume training ahead of their clash with rival side Kaizer Chiefs.

Innocent Maela and Nkosinathi Sibisi were previously out thanks to injury. However, according to the club, but have recovered and have resumed training ahead of the Buccaneer’s clash with Masandawana this Friday.

Innocent Maela and Nkosinathi Sibisi are an integral part of coach Jose Riveiro’s defence, so their recovery and return to training is good news not just to the coach but to the team as a whole.

In a statement on its official website, Orlando Pirates welcomed the duo back into the squad while also giving some insight into their absence previously. According to the club, Innocent Maela and Nkosinathi Sibisi both missed the Carling Black Label Cup. But they have resumed training now and look forward to featuring in the team’s next game.

It’s unclear how well the two would do following their return from injury. But the reception they have received so far indicated that the coach and the club as a whole value their contributions. This coming Friday should give some clues about their form. Stay tuned.
