GBV: Mzansi Reacts To Cassper Nyovest’s Stance on Women Abuse

Cassper Nyovest is famous as much for his music as for speaking his mind. And when he speaks, he usually has the attention of the public.

With gender-based violence on the rise in South Africa, the songster had taken to tweet to wonder why some peeps think it is cool to beat up women. He wondered what the hell is wrong with those who abuse the ladies.

Expectedly, his tweet provoked massive reactions from other Twitter users. One Twitter user offered that those who beat up women are just impotent. As far as he’s concerned, they wouldn’t raise their hands if they are okay below.

Another noted that he had not abused a woman before, but that if a woman should slap him or throw something at him, he would return the violence, no matter what the world might think.

Some fans tried to justify women abuse in Cassper Nyovest’s mention, but another fan was quick to point this out, describing it as disturbing. You can check out the tweet below.
