Where fans think there’s a simmering feud between Limpopo’s finest Makhadzi and King Monada, Makhadzi would rather brush away such thinking. According to the “Murahu” star, it is nothing but a publicity stunt.
In a recent social media post, Makhadzi had claimed that King Monada was trying to take credit for her song “Ghanama.” She claimed that the “Malwedhe” hitmaker was not there when she started working on the song with Prince Benza.
In what would strike many as a volte-face, she had retracted, stating that she and the King Monada had no issues whatsoever; that she said what she said just to promote the song before release and make it so more numbers. She said the strategy is working.
But most South Africans were neither pleased nor impressed with her revelation. Some described her action as disgraceful, others made it clear that she’d taken the wrong path; and yet others insisted it couldn’t have been a publicity stunt.
