These are not the best of times for South African gospel musician Fikile Mlomo, who was recently diagnosed with a spinal tumour. It was the sort of news that would paralyze anyone with fear, but she appeared to be carrying on with a measure of strength regardless.
She has been updating her fans on the case ever since she informed them of her affliction, which materialised in the form of severe pain that saw her collapsing to the floor. She was rushed to the hospital and tests pointed out her affliction.
Now that she knows what the problem is, the next hurdle appears to be the funds to carry out the surgery. By her own account, she doesn’t have the funds. So she is appealing to members of the public to assist her with the funds to carry out the surgery.
Interestingly, when the news broke of her appeal for funds to take care of her health. some social media users pointed out that they didn’t know her but that they are wishing her a successful surgery anyway.
At state hospitals they do those surgeries for free.
