Gregory Wings, Investor In Burna Boy’s Concert, Cleared Of Fraud, Set To Sue

More details are beginning to emerge about the Nigerian singer Burna Boy’s failed concert in South Africa. At the time of the announcement, it garnered great interest and many people rushed to buy their tickets, Then, along the line, the Nigerian announced that the concert was deferred indefinitely.

Many were stunned. Some were upset and some claimed that the Nigerian had to cancel the concert because of poor ticket sales. But he denied it was for that reason. End of story, eight? Wrong.

A fraud case was instituted against one of the investors in the concert, the American Gregory Wings. He appeared in court in South Africa, where every count of the case was thrown out, leaving him a free man. As far as he is concerned, though, the case isn’t over yet.

Wings is himself suing the person who had initially sued him – Sedote Nwachukwu – for fraud. Nwachukwu had reportedly vanished from South Africa and has not been seen since. His whereabouts is unknown.

According to Wings, he lost money and that is what he is out to recover, whatever it takes. He’s currently still in South Africa. it is unclear how long he would remain in the country and if he would recover his funds at all.
