It has been exciting to see that American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, released the remix of her hit song, ‘Savage,’ which featured on her latest mixtape ‘Suga.’ The remix featured the appearance of none other than Beyonce.
The fascinating news, which caught everyone by surprise on the 29th of April, also caught Megan Thee Stallion in shock when she realized that Beyonce has decided to put her own spin on the popular TikTok jam.
Discussing how the remix of ‘Savage’ with Beyonce was born, Megan Thee Stallion revealed the story in an interview with Ebro on Beats 1. This occurred on the 1st of May.
When Ebro asked Megan if her collaboration with Beyonce was something that they have been working since they hung out on New Year’s Eve in 2019, the talented rapper assured him that their collaboration was a more recent development.
Megan Thee Stallion explained:
They had a New Year’s Eve party at the house, so, no, it didn’t come from that day, that was like legit my first time meeting Beyonce. I got a call one day, and they were like, “Yeah, Beyonce’s going to do a remix of ‘Savage,’ and I was like, ‘Shut the f*ck up.’ I didn’t believe it.
Nobody knew I was working on the song, nobody knew we was working on the song, I didn’t tell my best friend, I didn’t tell nobody on my team. I didn’t tell anybody.
Megan Thee Stallion further talked about how she felt very ecstatic to have the Queen, who inspired her while growing up, to feature on her song. She also revealed her Beyonce was very supportive and had encouraged her to push harder.
