Popular South African rappers, Cassper Nyovest and Emtee, have not always been on good terms. They have engaged in several feuds on social media that it doesn’t look like the two can remain as friends. Their well-known highly publicized ‘beef’ was the reason Cassper’s close friend, Nadia Nakai was bothered about Cassper Nyovest’s reaction after knowing that she will be collaborating with Emtee on ‘40 Bars.’
While speaking on Cassper Nyovest’s reaction to her collaboration with Emtee, Nadia Nakai said:
Emtee and I have worked on many songs that never came out. I worked on this joint and when I sent it to him (Cassper Nyovest) I had my reservations and I thought he would say nah this guy but he said it’s freakin nuts.. .. this song is fire .. your voice sounds nuts, his voice sounds nuts… the beat is nuts. I then told him I’m dropping the song next week and he said fine!.
The ‘Good For That’ hitmaker has proven to be the kind of friend that is very supportive. He is not the type that will prevent his artists from working with other artists that he is not on good terms with. He also went to the length of promoting Nadia Nakai’s single where she collaborated with an artist that he is having ‘beef’ with.
Nadia Nakai recently took to social media to express her shock over the continued speculation that she is in a romantic relationship with Family Tree founder, Cassper Nyovest.
The rumours heightened after a picture of the two colleagues went viral. The picture was taken during the premiere of Netflix’s original series, Queen Sono.
Nadia, frustrated with the rumour, explained once again that they are not in a romantic relationship, and they are like siblings.
However, the rappers’ fans wish that they would start dating as they believe that they look perfect as a couple.
