SA Hip Hop star, Cassper Nyovest reveals what he loves about Africa’s new dominant genre, Amapiano.
In just a few years, the Amapiano genre has risen and reigned in not just Mzansi but also in Africa. Artistes and DJs in SA and across the continent have jumped on the sound in a bid to create banging hits.
The thing is, some succeed, and some dont. SA rapper, Cassper Nyovest is undeniably one emcee who opened the door to other SA Hip Hop artistes to join the Amapiano train. His highly publicized criticisms have now faded into the bright blue sky.
Cass recently took to social media to reveal what he loves about the genre. According to him, in Amapiano,
There are no gate keepers. Ha gona bosso. It is either your song is hot, or it’s not.
