“Idols SA” season 18 winner Thapelo Molomo has joined the Spirit Of Praise choir as a lead vocalist.
It is nice to see how far Thapelo Molomo has come in his music career. The talented singer won viewers’ hearts across Mzansi when he completed in the 18th season of the “Idols SA” show. He ended up winning the contest.
A week later, he got in the studio with Kalawa Jazmee Records and created a four-track EP. He has now revealed to TshisaLive that he has joined the Spirit Of Praise choir as a lead vocalist. He said,
“I did a collaboration with Spirit of Praise this past weekend, May 27. I’m a new family member of SOP, and yes, the fans can expect so many things from me with the family. I was there as a backing vocalist before … it’s just that now I come as a lead vocalist.”
He was unveiled alongside fellow Idols SA star Mmatema Moremi on Saturday at the Spirit Of Praise live recording at SunBet Arena in Menlyn, Pretoria. We also hear he is set to go on tour around the country.
