What had spread online previously as rumour has now been confirmed. Idols SA’s Zama and Brandon Dhludhlu are dating.
The two artistes, who are both signed to Oskido’s Karawa Jazzme Records, have been dating for about six months now. Both started dating before the 16th season of the reality television show went on live television.
Brandon Dhludhlu confirmed to Sowetan that he and Zama are officially date, tracing the inception of their relationship to several months ago. But he admitted the world might think they have only just started dating.
The two were in the top three of the reality show. But Brandon Dhludhlu was eliminated, leaving Zama and Mr Music to slug it out for the final, which Zama won, supported by Brandon Dhludhlu.
By his own admission, Brandon Dhludhlu has met Zama’s parents. In fact, the two families have met. According to Brandon Dhludhlu, the meeting between the two families was harmonious. To him, it was like paying lobola (or bride price), but the meeting wasn’t about lobola.
The confirmation of Zama and Brandon Dhludhlu’s relationship is generating excitement among their fans online. Besides being in a relationship the pair might treat the world to a collaborative single. Who knows? Stay tuned.
