A quote goes that one can stand before kings if one is good at one’s craft. That might appear like stretching things when used in this case to reference South African designer Rich Mnisi hanging out with singer Beyonce. But you get the drift, yeah?
CÉCRED is the American singer’s new pet project that takes care of people’s hair affairs. it is something she’d worked on quietly for a while.
Back last year, she’s teased something in this direction but gave no definitive clues. it was only this year that things shaped up beautifully and fans got to realise what she has been up to.
But then, she is no stranger to the hair universe, being the daughter of a hair stylist, and having spent time in her mother;’s salon when she was younger.
Well, given her influence and power, it was only normal that at the launch of CÉCRED, she would also invite influential and power people. Rich Mnisi was one of them.
He showed up and had a good time. It was, of course, a thing of pride to have been invited. But South Africans appeared prouder to see one of their own on that stage of glory.
