Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest has hit the studio with the de facto king of amapiano music, Kabdza De Small. And the two are set to release something soon.
A clip of their studio session recently popped online. The two could be seen having a wonderful. It’s a local meeting of champions, in case you don’t already know.
Cassper Nyovest is a celebrated hip-hop figure. He’s also released several successful amapiano songs, so he’s no stranger to the world of piano music. Also, he’s worked with several notable figures in the genre, including DJ Sumbody, Abidoza and Boohle.
For his part, Kabza De Small has been making amapiano music for as long as we can remember. He was already playing piano when the genre was yet to gain national and global traction…many many were predicting the demise of the genre
Today, it is impossible to discuss piano usic without somehow mentioning the name Kabelo Motha (aka Kabza De Small). Famous for his collaborations with DJ Maphorisa, the other Scorpion King, Kabza’s handshake with a king of another genre is currently generating great excitement in Mzansi.
