American rapper, Kendrick Lamar trends for sampling Marvin Gaye in a new song tagged “The Heart Part 5”.
The world is ready for Kendrick’s highly anticipated album. The project is one of the year’s most anticipated offerings. The multiple Grammy winner who previously performed at the Super Bowl Halftime show has been holed up in the studio making music.
On April 8, Lamar shared info about his next album on social media. He revealed that the project would be called “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”. While fans countdown the date for the release, the “Humble” hitmaker has blessed the airwaves with a new joint.
He titled the new song “The Heart Part 5”. The song features a sample of Marvin Gaye’s “I Want You”. Everyone knows how hard it is to snag a Marvin Gaye sample. Social media has been abuzz with reactions since the song was released. We know we are in for a great time when the album drops.
