Kid Cudi Cancels Tour Following Coachella Injury

The unexpected happened at Coachella and no Kid Cudi wouldn’t be going ahead with his tour – for now.

The songster was among the artists on the lineup for the immensely popular festival and he actually showed up for his set. The songster performed at the event both weekends.

On the second weekend, in the heat of his performance, he’d jumped from the stage at the Sahara Tent, which led to his leg injury.

While the injury has not been described as very serious, it appeared to have been serious enough to likely hamper his performance on stage at his already scheduled tour. Thus the decision was made to cancel the tour in the interim.

The tour will likely stay cancelled until his broken foot fully heals. It is unclear when that will happen, so fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more details going forward.

He wouldn’t be the first musician to have an on-stage injury and cancel a tour as a result, however. History shows are are several examples previously. For instance, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine had rescheduled her 2022 UK tour after breaking her foot during a high-energy performance.

Well, hopefully, Kid Cudi recovers quickly enough to begin his tour.
