“One must not live on bread alone” is the verdict from the Bible. For some South African musicians, though, it is somewhat different: one must not live on music alone. They readily diversify into other fields to secure their financial futures with multiple streams of income.
South African musician Lady Du has just made the leap by opening her own beauty salon – a childhood dream come true.
Wa La Beauty salon is somewhere in the hood and currently hiring. Based on the flier the songstress shared on her verified Instagram page, the salon needs four hairdressers, two barbers, and five nail technicians. People applying for these positions should have at least two years of work experience.
For those who might think she is not qualified to own or run a salon, the songstress shared her certificates showing several qualifications relating to the field. You can check out the images below.
With her venture into the world of beauty and grooming, Lady Du joins DJ Zinhle and other South African celebs who are doing pretty well in the beauty universe.
It will be interesting to see how Lady Du (Duduzile Ngwenya) pushed ahead with her new salon brand. Stay tuned if you please.
