Famous beauty queen Lalela Mswane says she is done with pageants.
We never thought this day would come so early. Former Miss SA and Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane is set to exit the pageant world as she announced via her Instagram stories that she’s done with beauty pageants.
She shared the information on Friday, 29 December. Indeed, Lalela has had a great run on the scene. She dominated every space when, in 2021, she competed in the Miss Universe pageant, which was held in Israel. She was also crowned with three titles, including Miss SA 2021, second runner-up at Miss Universe 2021, and Miss Supranational 2022.
The Queen has now announced that it is time for her to give up her crown and move on to other things. Replying to a question that read, “Are you done with pageantry?” she wrote,
“God blessed me with Miss South Africa, Miss Universe Runner Up, Miss Supranational. It’s safe to say I’ve had a great pageantry journey. The door is closed.”
No doubt, fans will be sad to hear this, but she has truly had a great run. Lalela has not revealed what is next in her books, but we are confident she won’t keep that information private for too long.
