South Africa’s former The Bachelor star Lee Thompson is reportedly homeless after allegedly squandering his resources on drugs and women.
It’s interesting because just a year ago, the model and former rugby player was announced as the first bachelor on the M-Net reality dating show, “The Bachelor SA.”
He had charmed the ladies on that show with his incredible good looks and splendid physique. Even the men were just as enthralled with him as a person. How he lost it all and became homeless is what many of his fans have been trying to piece together.
A recent News 24 report indicated that the actor was evicted from a guest house where he was paying R300 a night when he could no longer afford the charges. According to the same report, the actor now lives at a shelter called Safe Space in Cape Town.
While reports fly across the web and social media that he’s battling drugs and homelessness, the actor was keeping up appearances on Instagram. The last post on Instagram popped up five days ago and showed that he had “sorted” his winter gear.
At any rate, news reaching us right now is that his family has flown him to a rehab in Johannesburg.
