Well, the host of the podcast, MacG, has finally revealed how things went down between them. According to him, Ntsiki Mazwai wanted R70k to appear on the podcast.
In other words, to interview her, the podcast has to pay her the sum. Otherwise, no deal. This apparent,y struck MacG, a man who is used to interviewing people without them asking for money, as odd.
And no, he was;t prepared to part with that sum just to have the controversial poet and anti-GBV advocate on the set of the podcast. So he passed.
He shared about this recently. giving fans insights into why he couldn’t have her as a guest. Of course, many South Africans wanted to see her on the podcast, but the fact that she requested to be paid R70k just to appear amused some people and provoked guffaws in others.
