Madison Square Garden Show: Drake Present, Shows Support For Black Coffee – Watch

Canadian rapper Drake was one of the prominent figures who showed love to the South African disc jockey and producer Black Coffee as he made history for the first time by being the first South African to perform at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Not only did he perform there for the first time, but he also actually filled out the place, another milestone for him. Of course, the significance of that event wasn’t lost on the musician and his network, which includes Drake.

The Certified Lover Boy of Canadian rap did not sit somewhere in his Toronto Mansion to fire off tweets of support. He was present at the Madison Square Garden event and even had a warm embrace with the South Africans during the performance.

The clip of them in a warm embrace had many South Africans smiling and praising Black Coffee for how much he has been able to accomplish despite the damage to one of his hands. You can check out the clip below.

Black Coffee has a close relationship with Drake and has in fact publicly thanked him for “sending the elevator down” for others – that is, supporting others as they make their way to the top,
