South African boy band Major League has just clinched a reality show with music giant MTV Base and they couldn’t be happier.
The amapiano collective announced the new deal in a post to their Instagram page. According to the band, which is made up of the twin brothers Bandile and Banele, the reality show, dubbed Inside Life, will premiere on MTV Base (DSTV channel 322) on 19 August at9:30 p.m.
MTV Base South Africa already confirmed the reality show on Instagram. While affirming it is looking forward to nonstop entertainment, it also encouraged fans to set reminders in order not to mix the premier of the show on the 19th of August.
Major League is but one of several South African musicians with interests in the reality show universe. Artistes like AKA and Somizi already have their own shows. Another artiste who’d shown interest in the reality show world is DJ Zinhle, but it’s said that her plans didn’t quite pan out. But she isn’t giving up on the idea yet.
