On the verge of her One Woman Show billed for Tlokweng, Botswana this weekend, a Botswana Government minister and the royals of the Batlokwa tribe accepted and gave Makhadzi their blessings this morning.
OverView Radio witnessed as The media, the public, and women in shawls and leteisi(Setswana Traditional attire) gathered at the Tlokweng Main Kgotla for the star.
Makhadzi, attended the Kgotla event dressed in the same Setswana traditional attire, was showered with various gifts by the Tlokweng Village elders and royals.
She was commended for her talent, influence, tremendous work, and recognized as one of the leading African stars…
The Limpopo born singer and performer got emotional over the the presidential treatment she received, and said that Botswana has given her more love than South Africa…
She even cried while receiving her gifts….
“I express my gratitude to the leaders of this country for allowing me to have my show here, Botswana is the only country that has shown me so much love even more than my own country. I want to reach out to the younger ones… ” said Makhadzi…
Tlokweng is a modern village, geographically attached to the country’s capital, Gaborone,and it’s set to host Makhadzi’s stadium show on Saturday.
Makhadzi will then award 10% of the event to Botswana charities of her choice
