Malema, Others Appeal To The Public As Godrich Gardee’s Daughter Hillary Goes Missing

Hillary Gardee, daughter of the attorney and former EFF secretary-general Godrich Gardee, has been declared missing, and the family is appealing for help to locate her.

She had reportedly disappeared on April 29 while shopping at a plaza (SPAR) in Nelspruit. At the time of her disappearance, she was said to be wearing a pair of black trousers and a black top and was carrying a shopping bag.

Hillary’s disappearance was confirmed by her Uncle Mbatha, who noted that the family is keeping all lives of communication open in case someone should reach out concerning the issue. That was all he was prepared to volunteer to newsmen.

To ensure Hillary returns to the family as soon as possible, the family is offering a reward of R200k for any information leading to her location.

Hillary was said to have disappeared with a three-year-old adopted child. However, while she’s yet to be found, the child has been located and is back to her mother.

The news of Hillary’s disappearance has further stoked the debate of people simply disappearing in South Africa. Amid the uncertainty over Hillary’s fate, EFF leader Julius Malema had taken to Twitter to announce the disappearance and appeal to the public to help find the missing millennial.
