Mampintsha’s Friend Dragged for Asking For Donations For Baby Sponge

Late Gqom star Mampintsha’s friend gets dragged for asking for donations days after his funeral.

Mzansi is mourning the passing of one of the country’s most prominent artists Mampintsha. The former Big Nuz member was laid to rest a few days back, and fans took to social media to send condolence messages to the family he left behind.

A friend of the late singer @dogg_dbn_ recently got slammed on Twitter for calling out the government to donate money to raise the singer’s baby Sponge. He wrote, “Our province and city failed Mampintsha like all other artists. What is the purpose of having an expensive funeral when Mampintsha has a kid that needs to go to good schools and needs to live a comfortable life?”

He criticized the government for not supporting the singer’s music projects while he was alive, claiming that they only intervene when artists have died. Enraged Twitter users replied to the now-deleted tweet slamming the man for asking for money. They called most artists entitled and said that they need to learn to handle their money while they are alive.
