Iconic rapper Mandoxa might be dead, but he has a widow who is still sticking around, keeping his memory alive every chance she gets.
Were Mnadoza alive, he would have celebrated his birthday on the 17th of this month. But he sadly lost his life years ago after a year-long battle with cancer. Now, all that’s left of him are his musical legacy and the memories of the good times he shared with his loved ones.
His wife Mpho Tshabalala remembers him every opportunity she has, including on his birthday two days ago. It was an emotional moment for her, recalling their times together and making it known that “Your Spirit Moves With Me Daily.”
In other words, while Mandoza may have died years ago, his spirit is still very much alive with his family, especially his wife. Interestingly, she has been a big beneficiary of his musical legacy. For instance, she was reportedly paid a splendid sum after the late rapper’s “Nkalankatha” song was used after South Africa’s triumph at the recently concluded Rugby World Cup in France. Despite it being years since it was released, that song is still being enjoyed today.
