Mass Disappointment As Tasha Cobbs’s Concert At Moses Mabhida Stadium Is Cancelled

Is this a season of deferments and cancellations or what? If that question has crossed your mind as a South African, best believe you are not alone. Many are thinking along the same line as well after it was reported that singer Tasha Cobbs has cancelled her show at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in South Africa.

Earlier, it was the Nigerian singer Burna Boy whose show at the FNB stadium was reportedly deferred indefinitely due to poor ticket sales (alleged). But he had denied the deferment had anything to do with ticket sales, noting how 100k people had showed up to welcome him when he visited South Africa a year ago.

Well, the Revival Tour with Tasha Cobbs was to have taken place in Durban at Moses Mabhida Stadium on September 23. However, a recent release indicated that the tour will no longer take place and ticketing platforms that had sold tickets for the concert have been given instructions to start the refund process for those who have already bought tickets.

There is a great sign of displeasure among South Africans over the cancellation, with some seemingly unable to process why the show had to be cancelled when it could easily have been deferred.
