After a long silence, Megan Thee Stallion agreed to a video interview regarding the shooting in which she was injured on her feet in 2020. Canadian rapper Tory Lanez had reportedly shot her in the feet following an altercation in Hollywood Hills.
In a sit-down with CBS’s Gayle King, Megan Thee Stallion detailed little known aspects of the case and even got teary at some point.
According to the “Plan B” rapper, 27, the incident began as an argument because she was ready to go and everyone else wasn’t. She conceded it was normal friends stuff, silly.
Her tears flowed fast when she noted that she neither raised her voice nor put her hand on anyone. Things just went crazy — as they shouldn’t have.
She got out of the car then. And according to her, things happened pretty fast from there. She aimed to have heard a man scream at her to dance, followed by an expletive. At this point, according, he fired multiple shots. She said she was afraid to take a step, afraid to make any move, afraid for her life. You can check out the interview snippet below.
