Megan Thee Stallion Woos Japan As She Cosplays Gojo

American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has just shown that she is prepared to learn a thing or two about a culture she would be immersing herself in. What better way does one explain her cosplaying Gojo?

In case you are still wondering, the character she cosplayed, Satoru Gojo, is from the realm of Japanese fiction, taken from Gege Akutami’s manga Jujutsu Kaisen.

Gojo stands out for his partial face covering. Megan Thee Stallion imitated the same when she popped into Japan. This move on the part of the American had social media abuzz.

She went beyond the face covering though, also adopting Gojo’s hair colour and clothing colour (black as well).

Cosplaying the beloved anime character not only hints at the American rapper’s love for anime but seemingly an enforced desire to charm her Japanese hosts.

It might be said that she succeeded because she has been the talk of social media ever since she cosplayed Gojo. You can check out the post below.

It is one of these memorable times when the songstress isn’t trending for something for something scandalous but for the effort she took to immerse herself in a culture she was not born in. Seems like the way to go.
