He has been around for a while but not many are familiar with him and his music. But that appears to be changing for Meneer Cee right now after he trended on Mzansi Twitter. The songster had dropped amapiano music in Afrikaans and Mzansi can’t have enough of it.
Clearly, South Africans haven’t had it so good and they couldn’t contain their delight over what the songster has put together. For many, they have got a party anthem – something that will not only get the party started but keep it going as well

Some have even made comparisons between Meneer Cee and Phori (DJ Maphorisa) and picked Cee as their man – at the moment, anyway. Chris Excel, who prides himself as president of Black Twitter, has even picked Meneer Cee as a better artist than DJ Maphorisa.

To each his fave, of course. How long Meneer Cee will snag the attention of the public remains to be seen – and that might determine his staying power, or whether he is one of the one-day winders that manifests in South Africa Africa sporadically.
