It has been said and right too that when one has made a significant impact, the likelihood of one being missed in death, by family and others, is pretty great. We see this play out again and again. That is the reality right now for Sikelelwa Ngubane, the widow of “Generations” actor Menzi Ngubane.
Menzi died from a stroke in 2021 but Sikelelwa has been struggling to move on without him. And recently, she shared her struggles online, noting how it has been difficult to push on without him by her side.
March 13, 2021, seems just like yesterday for Sikelelwa, as it was that very day that her life took a dramatic and irreversible turn with the news of her husband’s stroke and death. But then, in the years they were together, they created many beautiful memories that the widow would continue to live with.
In the middle of her grief, she had sought counselling to enable her to cope. Also, she has been fortunate to have the public’s support amid the agony of losing someone who was dear to her.
Until his death, Menzi Ngubane stood out for his role in several flicks. including “Isibaya” and “Generations.” He was also one of South Africa’s memorable actors.
