Mondli Ngcobo’s baby mama, Mandy Malebo, reportedly passes on.
Mondli Ngcobo is mourning the death of his baby mama. The 28-year-old reportedly passed on Thursday, 4 January, and Mondli confirmed the news by sharing a statement on his Instagram page. He wrote,
“It is with deepest sadness that we confirm the passing of our beloved daughter, Mandy Malebo. Mandy fell ill, complaining of a bubbling sensation in her stomach, and was consequently hospitalised on the 27th of December her health deteriorated thereafter, which eventually led her to losing her life.”
When news of her death broke, many online users alleged that Malebo died from a suicide. They blamed Mondli for her death. Back in 2022, Mandy shared a video where she accused Mondli of being a deadbeat dad. The video trended for days, and Mondli was criticized by Mzansi for it.
The video has now resurfaced since her death was announced. It has also prompted accusations that Mandy’s death was caused by Mondli.
Mondli reacted to the accusations, saying, “I have heard all kinds of hurtful speculations about the cause of death and about me, but personally, I urge you to give her family space and grace to mourn the loss. I am awaiting for her family to finalise the details of laying her to rest, and I will then share with you accordingly.”
