More Trouble For Lizzo As Rapper Is Accused Of Sexual Harassment & Weight-Shaming

American rapper Lizzo is currently embroiled in a legal drama with some of her previous employers. Some of her former dancers are accusing her of sexual harassment and weight-shaming.

Dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez have instituted a suit against Lizzo using their attorney, Ron Zambrano. Also joined in the suit are Lizz’s production company, Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc, and Shirlene Quigley, Lizzo’s dance captain.

Shirlene Quigley reportedly pushed her Christian beliefs upon other performers and spoke ill of those who had premarital sex while also sharing wild sexual fantasies.

It is unclear whether Lizzo knew about her dance captain’s alleged conduct, as it was not stated in the suit. In a statement, Zambrano noted that how Lizzo and her management team treated her performers goes against everything she stands for publicly.

According to Zambrano, privately, however, Lizzo “weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing.”

LIzzo is known for pushing for body positivity, so the recent claim that she weight-shamed one of her dancers and was upset with her for gaining weight left many of her fans incredulous.

Anyway, it is now left to the courts to determine the case. We might share the outcome with you. So stay tuned.
