Moses Tembe Rubbishes Claims That His First Wife Killed Herself

Nelli Tembe’s father Moses Tembe has rubbished claims that his first wife Lulu killed herself.

It has been three years since Nelli Tembe died after falling from the 10th-floor balcony of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. It is believed that she had argued with her fiance, AKA moments before she fell.

The South African reports that in a leaked letter to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), the Tembe family alleges that the late rapper pushed Nelli off the balcony. The family also claims that AKA ignored their daughter as she lay dying on the pavement below and drank alcohol with his friends.

While speaking on the record with author of “When Love Kills,” Melinda Ferguson, Moses Tembe rubbished reports that his first wife, Lulu, killed herself. According to him, she died after a long illness in 2014 when Anele was just 12 years old.

Moses also claimed that the rumours of his late first wife’s suicide were “planted for nefarious purposes” to imply that Nelli had “inherited suicidal tendencies from her mother.”

He said, “My first wife died with the whole family gathered around her bedside. The rumour that came out about my first wife committing suicide was a malicious story and only came out from ‘unknown sources’ after Anele died.”

“These people were prepared to go to any lengths to create a false narrative”.
