Berry and Karabo are the finalists for the 17th season of the reality television show Idols SA. The pair’s performance last weekend had fans clapping in approval.
On Sunday during the semi-finals, Berry and Karabo had both shared their original singles on the Idols SA circuit. Fans who listened to them thought they were awesome.
Berry had fans glued to their seats and applauding when she sang “Ungowami,” a Zulu tune that had both Unathi Nkayi and Msaki commending her for her reverence for the Zulu language.
Karabo was equally charming when she dropped her original, “Hosana.”

S’22Kile was part of the top three. She had been eliminated during the weekend, leaving Berry and Karabo to slug it out for the final position. Before S’22Kile’s exit, she had treated fans to her song dubbed “Falling,” as well as clinched a recording deal with Oskido’s Kalawa Jazmee Records.
Following S’22Kile’s exit, Berry and Karabo will return to the stage later this week, where they will slug it out at the season’s finale. The winner of the show will take home several splendid prizes, including an official car and a recording deal.
It remains to be seen who will sway the judges and the viewing audience.
