South Africa’s former beauty queen Shudufhadzo ‘Shudu’ Musida knows that there is life beyond the pageant and beyond winning the same competition. So she made it a point to delve into entrepreneurship soon after emerging Miss SA in 2020. And from the look of things, she is doing pretty well in her business adventure.
This week, the much-loved beauty queen launched her Imbe swimwear brand to the delight of her fans and South Africans as a whole. It appears the Imbe brand is an all-comers affair but for a select clientele. This should be obvious from the brand only being available at Woolworths, one of the top retail chains in South Africa.
From the look of things, though, there are barely any complaints about the exclusivity of the Imbe line. Maybe in the coming days, the brand will be available in other stores as well. In the interim, Wollworths is the place to get them.
By the way, not only is the former beauty queen an entrepreneur, she is also an author. Alongside her Imbe swimwear brand, she had also released her second book, “I am Shudu, Finding My Voice, Knowing My Power.” She made headlines recently when the public suspected she was in a romantic relationship with businessman Maps Maponyane.
