South African Olympian Caster Semenya’s moment with her American counterpart and the fastest woman in the world at the time of writing, Sha’Carri Richardson, had many South Africans smiling.
Apparently, it wasn’t a moment many South Africans were expecting. So they were not only surprised but pleased about it as well. The South African athlete herself had shared about their meeting in a post on her official Instagram page.
In the image, they could be seen standing close together while playfully pointing at each other. They bother wore lavish smiles, and even their clothing blended. They were of similar colour. In the caption to her post, Caster seemingly hinted at their camaraderie with a red heart emoji.
