The Skhanda World collective has joined the Universal Music Group South Africa family and released a joint album titled “Welcome to the Planet.”
Skhanda World is a record owned by veteran rapper K.O. To the label are signed several musicians, including DJ Mr. X, Ma-E, Loki, Roiii, Just Bheki, and others.
The partnership with Universal Music Group, one of the top global brands, also makes the artistes signed to Skhanda World part of the UMG family.
A few days ago, in a press conference that had the likes of L-Tido, Cassper Nyovest, Speedsta and Sjava in attendance, Skhanda world had confirmed the partnership with UMG.
UMG had also confirmed the partnership, tweeting that the joint album from Skhanda World was now available for streaming. You can check out the tweet below.

With the signing to UMG, Skhanda World has the opportunity to not only take its brand but its sound to the ends of the earth. Word reaching us is that the members are excited to join the UMG family.
