Last weekend, Mampintsha and girlfriend of many years Babes Wodumo tied the nuptial knot in a traditional ceremony that drew the cream of South African entertainment.
Days after, fans are debating the age gap between the two, who reportedly dated for 10 years before they got married.
Babes Wodumo is currently 26 and Mampintsha will be 38 in July. Since the pair started dating 10 years ago, fans have accused Mampintsha of grooming Babes Wodumo, dating a minor, among others.
While some social media users denounced Mampintsha for dating Babes Wodumo when she was 16 and he was 28, others supported him. One social media user clarified that it is actually legal in South Africa.
The user, who goes by the handle @LifestyleZ18 on Twitter, insists those criticizing the West Ink boss should actually worry about their personal lives and not the choice Mampintsha made, which wasn’t against the law at the time.
By the way, Mampintsha’s mother is no fan of his relationship with Babes Wodumo, who she denounced in a trending video.
