Mzansi pays tribute to famous rapper and Piano star Costa Titch on the first anniversary of his death.
Last year, the country lost one of the most vibrant musicians and dancers ever to hit the scene. 27-year-old Costa Titch collapsed on stage during a performance and was later pronounced dead.
News of his death sent shock waves throughout Mzansi. It had only been a month of mourning AKA’s death when it happened, and Mzansi could not handle it—however, the star left behind a legacy that continues to speak even in his death. Costa dropped one of the biggest Piano hits of all time.
His song “Big Flexa” was massive across South Africa, the continent, and the world. Its official music video also recently amassed over 90 million views on YouTube alone. South Africa is honouring the rapper’s memory on the first anniversary of his death.
Some fans wrote that they were still traumatized by his passing. Penelope_Makala wrote, “He just collapsed on stage, and that was it. We’re always reminded of how short life is. May he continue to rest in peace.”
