Mzansi Reacts As Dee Koala Demarkets Uncle Waffles’ New KFC Burger

South African rapper Dee Koala has just dropped a shade in the direction of her compatriot and fellow musician, Uncle Waffles, who recently snagged a deal with fast food giant KFC.

In a bid to solidify her brand in the industry, Uncle Waffles collaborated with KFC to create a burger named for her – Uncle Waffles Burger.

But it turned out Dee Koala was unimpressed with the result of the partnership – or so she made apparent in a recent TikTok video. In the clip, she speaks while looking at the camera, noting that she is not a fan of sweet stuff but she will be taking a bite of Ubcle Waffles Burger anyway.

She indeed took a bite of the burger, but her facial expression indicated she found it either horrible or disgusting. She expressed love for Uncle Waffles but still demarketed the product that bears her name. You can check out the clip below.

Some South Africans who saw the clip condemned her for demarketing her fellow female musician. Some asked what exactly she stood to gain from her video when she could easily have called Uncle Waffles and communicated how her burger might be improved if there was really a need for it.
