“Yass Bitch” rapper Nadia Nakai is so confident about her place in South Africa’s music universe that she has made it clear there’s no way anyone can discuss the genre in Mzansi without somehow mentioning her name.
The songstress was one of the judges on Comedy Central’s Roast of Khanyi. She used the opportunity to talk about her place in South African music and why it just cannot be overlooked or ignored.
Taking to Twitter, she had implied her appearance on the platform had not stopped the music. In fact, she has new music coming in collaboration with Nasty C. She’d be the feature on the forthcoming song.
Another tweet from her indicated that beyond the forthcoming number with Nasty C, something else might drop from her kitty. It wasn’t named, however.
Beyond hyping her music abilities, Nadia Nakai has been doing the same for her man. During the Roast, she had indicated that her lover, AKA, was actually the king of CapeTown and not YoungstaCPT. That affirmation provoked wild laughter from most viewers of the show.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see what she would release in collaboration with Nasty C and what impact it would make. Stay tuned, y’all.
