Nasty C Disappointed By Speedsta’s Claim Over a Song

We can affirm that notable South African rappers, Nasty C and Speedsta, are engaged in a conflict as their rift has been released to the media.

After the young rapper called out Speedsta for falsely claiming the ownership of the song titled ‘Bamm Bamm,’ the two started a beef on social media.

In a recent interview, Nasty C expressed his disappointment over Speedsta’s claims and how the circumstances turned out. The young rapper is of the belief that Speedsta’s Twitter outburst was a result of his ‘jealousy’ over his success.

The award-winning rapper further stated that such kind of behaviours could be expected from other artists in the South African hip hop scene. He was, however, surprised that Speedsta would be the first to turn on him. Nasty C said that he still couldn’t see how the song’s issue was related to what was stated in Speedta’s Twitter rant.

The ‘There They Go’ hitmaker said:

I think it’s more of a jealousy thing more than anything, I don’t see how his initial point had anything to do with any of the stuff he went on to say. His first thing was that he gave me a song, which I tried to correct him on because he didn’t. Then he only apologized for his mistake 10 tweets down the line…like only then he admits that there might have been a problem with his wording in the first tweet. Something he should have said in the first place instead of going on and on.

The relationship between the two artists has grown sour following the shots that they fired at each other over who owned the song. Speedsta fought extra dirty as he even dragged the recording label, Def Mix, into the argument.

The popular radio host tagged Def Jam at some point in the twar and leaked another collaboration that they had both worked titled ‘Side Chick,’ which features Aweon Wolf.

Nasty C further said:

He instead wanted to talk about how I’ve changed and how I think I’ve arrived now because of the Def Jam deal and what not. You can tell the whole thing stemmed from something else, but it’s okay. I was expecting that anyway- maybe not from him- but it’s cool. It’s whatever.

Looking at the beef between the two artists and how far their conflict has gone, it is unlikely that it would end anytime soon.
