According to the “There They Go” rapper, his father, an HR manager initially disapproved of his rap career. However, that didn’t last long because his recent success has left him proud. He said “he used to give me such a hard time” but now sees the all hard work he puts in.

He made the reveal during a recent interview. It hasn’t been long since news broke that the “SMA” rapper had signed with Hip-Hop label, Def Jam Recordings. Speaking about it, he said it was finally time to crossover. He revealed, he and his team were finally ready to take his brand global and Def Jam was the best choice.
