Nasty C Stars In Disney+’s Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire

SA Hip Hop star Nasty C has reacted to starring in Disney+’s Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire.

Nasty C is always spreading his wings beyond the music scene. The famous rapper was announced as part of the cast for Disney+’s Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire. We are excited to hear that we will be seeing it soon.

The “There They Go” star spoke to GQ about starring in the series. Disney+’s Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire will be a 10-part anthology series that will bring together several African animators to produce narratives around the science-fiction and fantasy genres.

Speaking to Variety about the series in 2021, Disney+ president Michael Paull said they were bringing “the work of a visionary new generation of African filmmakers” to the streaming platform.

“The films in the anthology kind of run the gamut when it comes to science-fiction. These are stories that touch on other world’s time travel and alien beings, but all of these genre conventions are seen through an African lens that makes them totally new.”

Speaking to GQ about ‘bagging the gig’ Nasty C said, “My team informed me about the series Disney + was doing and shared the story, Mkhuzi: The Spirit Racer with me. I was excited to lend my voice to the character and series. Manzo is a half-human, half-alien teenager who dreams of becoming a superstar racer like his mom. He struggled a bit with identity being Zulu but with alien blood.”
