Theirs is currently one of the most talked about relationships in South Africa. But how did South African rapper Nasty C meet his girlfriend Sammie Heavens?
This question and several others formed part of the interview the songster granted to fellow rapper turned podcaster L-Tido.
According to the “Zulu Man With Some Power,” he met Sammie by the ramp when he was walking with his friends back in high school. He told them of his interest in Sammie and they told him to go for it if it is what he wants.
He approached her then and asked if he might speak to her. She agreed and they moved to a corner. In conversation with her, he asked for her number but she said he was wasting her time. Anyway, they started a relationship soon after. They have been inseparable ever since.\
Nasty C also dwelled on his place in South African music, describing himself as the best rapper in the Rainbow Nation – in a league all his own back home, and only comparable to the likes of Jay-Z and J. Cole. Of course, the claim elicited controversy at the time, with some critics claiming he was too full of himself
