Natasha Joubert: Dr Musa Mthombeni Shares Thoughts on New Miss SA

South Africa has got a new beauty queen, but the controversy of=ver the crowing of Natasha Joubert as the new Miss South Africa continues to reverberate around the country, with tweeps sharing their thoughts on it,

One of those who has had something to say about it all is the media personality Dr Musa Mthombeni who himself is married to a former beauty queen.

Taking to his Twitter page soon after Joubert was declared the new Miss SA 2023, he noted that what happened at the event which was on Sunday 13 August was nothing more than a heist – a “CIT” in his own words. As far as he was concerned, Nande was the lady more deserving of the crown.

In another post on the same subject, this time on TikTok, he joked that he is happy he has his own Miss SA. His reference, of course, is to his wife, Liesl Laurie, who won the Miss SA crown back in 2015. The couple has been married for years and shares a deep bond which they advertise now and then on social media
