South African singer Rethabile Khumalo has pulled out of the Night of Stars event for which she had been booked, citing disagreement with the organizers of the show.
In a post shared on her official Instagram page, she noted that the organizers of the show ere using her image without her consent. She made it clear that she will not be performing at the Night of Stars in Botswana because the organisers had not lived up to their part of the contract.
According to her, not only was her picture used without her consent, she was not paid anything and the organisers are still giving her a hard tim. Her time the time to release a music about why she wpould not be performing at the event pleased some of her fans, who were seeking clarirty about the whole controversy.

A musician having a contract dispute with an event organizer is actually noting new. It happesn sporadically around the world- not just South Africa. And it is doubtful it will end anytime soon.
