Gospel singer Ntokozo Mbambo has celebrated her wins amid Kelly Khumalo’s heated social media rant following SAMAs loss.
It has been a very funny couple of days. Maybe not so funny for most. It all began when Kelly Khumalo lost her SAMA nominations and took to social media to rant about the awards show being rigged and to slam a gay man who tried to advice her.
The singer was nominated for Best Female Artist of the Year alongside Gospel singer Ntokozo Mbambo, who won the awards. Mbambo won a total of three SAMAs that night.
In a rage, Khumalo wrote, “Nontokozo naye uyazi numbers don’t lie! Asimesabi! Fuseg SAMAs.” Which translates to: “Even Ntokozo knows that numbers do not lie. We are not scared of her.”
While some of her fans supported her, many slammed her for being envious and called her a sore loser. Well, fans were thrilled to know that the rant did not faze Ntokozo Mbambo. In a comment to eNCA about her wins, the Gospel star praised God and even quoted a scripture.
She said, “Scripture says that he is faithful even when we are faithless, and that’s exactly what happened this past weekend.”
