Famous Mzansi poet and activist Ntsiki Mazwai has reacted to claims by DJ Fresh that she lost a defamation case and has to pay him R200k.
Mzansi has been pondering many claims made by DJ Fresh on the latest episode of Mac G’s “Podcast And Chill.” The famous House hitmaker opened up about the outcome of his case with Ntsiki Mazwai and Penny Lebyane.
He revealed on the podcast that Ntsiki made unsubstantiated claims against him in 2019. Years later, the court found her guilty and ordered her to pay R200 000 in legal expenses. He also revealed that he was a fan of her work but believes she’s reckless regarding activism.
Reacting to the claims, Mazwai said she’s very much aware that she exposes uncomfortable truth, but she isn’t a liar. “Lol, I can’t even lie with makeup and false illusions of beauty, so to expect me to have lied about such a big thing is really very fascinating for me. Is it denial?”
She continued, “I have been sued for publishing a list that was already online, which is what makes my case so dam*n interesting that I got sued for what YOU were saying.”
