Memories of Will Smith’s Oscar slap are still pretty fresh/ The actor had addressed it and its fallout and now it appears his set to tell all in a memoir as well.
A while back, in a dramatic show of disapproval, Wll Sith had stormed the Oscar stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock in the face, warning him to take his mouth out of his wife Jada’s business. What provoked the slap was the comedian making an irreverent joke about Jada’s alopecia.
Apparently, he was unaware she was suffering from alopecia and made a jocund comparison between her and GI Jane. It was to have been a comedic moment, but Will Smith found that Jada wasn’t pleased with the joke. So he stormed the stage.
Well, Jada is addressing the incident in a tell-all memoir. It would also open before the world hitherto unknown aspects of her life and relationship with Will Smith.
Entitled “Worthy,” the memoir is expected to be out by October 17 this year. Oh, well, if you are a big Jada fan or just want to get some ideas about her relationship with Will Smith, including the infamous Oscar slap moment, you may want to keep your eyes peeled for what comes in a few months
