Late South African actor, Patrick Shai’s cause of death has been revealed.
The death of one of South Africa’s Best actors, Patrick Shai has shocked the entire country. Shai had previously trended on social media after a video of him hurling insults at SA Hip Hop star, Cassper Nyovest and his mother went viral.
Of course, the backlash after that was intense. He also sent out an apology to the “Good For That” rapper and his mother. “I regret every bit of the last sentence I used. I am sorry,” he said. A week later, it was announced that the actor had been found dead by a family member.
He is believed to have committed suicide. Spokesperson for his family, Amogelang Mmusi said that they’re still in shock. She also could not comment on the backlash he suffered after the trending video because she was not with him at the time. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo has also revealed that he was certified dead at the scene.
